Who We Are — Leadership & People

The People Who Sign
Off on the Results

In engineering, an organization’s capability is its people’s capability. At DINETT, licensed Professional Engineers and master’s- and PhD-level engineers do the work themselves, with clear accountability for final judgments and signatures.

Our Principle

Your Engineer Stays
to the End

At many technical service firms, sales staff and project engineers are separate. As a result, what was discussed at contracting never reaches the project team, and when problems arise, each side blames the other.

At DINETT, the same engineer handles your project from the first consultation through the final report and review board. You never have to explain your situation twice, and accountability never blurs.

For work requiring P.E. review, the P.E. who seals the documents takes part in the actual review. It is our principle never to perform nominal reviews that merely lend a name.

Expertise

Our Experts

Each discipline is led by professionals with statutory qualifications or degree-based expertise in their field.

SIM
Engineering Simulation

Analysis Division

Master’s and PhD engineers in mechanical, civil and architectural engineering. Specialists in structures and dynamics, fluids and heat transfer, and acoustics are assigned by field and cross-check the physical validity of analysis results.

STR
Structural Engineering

Structural Division

P.E.s in Building Structures and Civil Structures handle review and sealing, while qualified safety diagnosis personnel conduct site investigations and condition ratings.

ENV
Building & Environment

Building Environment · Environmental Division

Experienced green building certification assessors, EIA practitioners and performance-based fire safety design specialists handle the entire permitting process.

T&M
Testing & Measurement

Testing · Measurement Division

Certified NDT personnel and measurement specialists in noise and vibration, air quality and asbestos conduct site investigations and issue test reports.

CIV
Civil Engineering

Civil Division

Geotechnical engineers and P.E.s in Civil Structures handle ground investigation, underground safety impact assessment and excavation design review.

QA
Quality & Standards

Technical standards · Quality

A quality team independent of the disciplines reviews the consistency of analysis assumptions, calculation procedures and report wording in advance. Cross-verification before issue is mandatory.

※ Once confirmed details are provided, the names, bios, fields of study and qualifications of executives and key engineers will be added as named profile cards.

How We Work

Technical Organization Principles

  • Single point of responsibility — the same engineer is accountable from consultation through review board
  • Mandatory cross-verification — every report is independently reviewed by another engineer before issue
  • Documented assumptions — simplifications and their rationale are always stated
  • Named accountability — reviewers, authors and approvers are named in every report
  • Knowledge sharing — regular in-house technical seminars transfer knowledge across disciplines
  • Capability transfer — analysis procedures and models are handed over at the client’s request
Talent

Who We Look For

  • Engineers who ask questions — people who don’t let odd results slide but find the cause
  • Experts who can explain — people who can convey the rationale even to non-specialists
  • People who cross boundaries — people curious about problems beyond their own field
  • People who speak uncomfortable truths — people who report results as they are, even when unfavorable
